Open Access is the practice of making research outputs such as peer-reviewed journal articles, conference papers, theses, book chapters/monographs, freely available online for everyone to read, use and re-use.
Open Access Week runs from 21-27 October, and the theme this year is ‘Open for Whom? Equity in Open Knowledge’.
Exeter Health Library supports researchers at the Royal Devon & Exeter NHS Foundation Trust with Open Access through the RD&E Research Repository. Researchers can upload full-text versions of their peer-reviewed journal articles to the repository and make them freely accessible (where publisher permissions allow), as well as other research outputs they want to share, such as conference posters.
If you’ve recently had an article accepted for publication, and you’d like to add it to the RD&E Research Repository, please complete the online form, or drop an email to rde-tr.ResearchRepository@nhs.net.
