You will need an NHS OpenAthens account if you want to access NHS e-resources such as databases, electronic journals, electronic books and point of care resources.

If possible, we advise that you register for NHS OpenAthens account from a NHS networked PC, as your account will be activated immediately. Registering from home can cause delays of up to a few weeks.

If you have recently joined the Trust and you already have an NHS OpenAthens account, log in and click on ‘Change organisation’ to transfer your account to the RD&E or DPT.
